8-10 April 2025, at RAI in Amsterdam (In person)
Rematec is a trade show aimed at the automotive aftermarket and specializes in international businesses offering remanufactured and refurbished parts. Held every two years in Amsterdam, Rematec benefits from being combined with the International Conference on Remanufacturing (ICoR). Led by Professor Winifred Ijomah of Strathclyde University, ICoR 2025 brings together her network of academic researchers in remanufacturing. Although relegated to the depressing semi-gloom of the exhibition hall basement, the research community adds a wider interest to this small but well-managed trade show.

The European Remanufacturing Network (ERN) project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement 645984.
The project was so successful that in January 2017 it was decided to create a European Remanufacturing Council funded by business membership subscriptions.
The ERN project (and the creation of a European Remanufacturing Council) was inspired by the earlier work of the Remanufacturing Industries Council in the USA.
