Since the completion of the Horizon 2020 ERN Remanufacturing project in 2016, Oakdene Hollins Ltd has managed the European Remanufacturing Council. In June 2024, Oakdene Hollins was sold. What next for the European Remanufacturing Council?
The new owner of Oakdene Hollins Ltd agreed to sell the intellectual property (IP) on remanufacturing owned by the company. This IP is now owned by the European Remanufacturing Council srl, which is registered in Belgium under enterprise number 1013509943. The ERC website will be updated in 2025 using the europeanreman.eu domain.

The European Remanufacturing Network (ERN) project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement 645984.
The project was so successful that in January 2017 it was decided to create a European Remanufacturing Council funded by business membership subscriptions.
The ERN project (and the creation of a European Remanufacturing Council) was inspired by the earlier work of the Remanufacturing Industries Council in the USA.
