For sustainable products in a Circular Economy

Global Industrie, Lyon

11-14 March 2025, Lyon, France. (In person) A meeting place for the entire industrial ecosystem...

Lyon is a lovely city, and it is where David Fitzsimons worked as a student for Les Verts in the summer of 1985 and helped to organize a successful demonstration against the sinking of the Greenpeace ship, Rainbow Warrior.  And Eurexpo in Lyon is the ideal venue for hosting the many large OEMs attending the show in 2025.

This year, for the first time, and thanks to the organisers at Global Industrie, we are adding a remanufacturing element to this well-known trade show, which rotates annually between Paris and Lyon. Working in association with Ademe (The French Agency for Ecological Transition) David Fitzsimons and Régis Dando from the European Remanufacturing Council will be guiding visitors to the exhibitor stands of companies that have their own remanufacturing and refurbishment operations.

When you arrive, go to the Ademe stand and ask to take the remanufacturing tour (guided in English or French).

The European Remanufacturing Network (ERN) project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement 645984.

The project was so successful that in January 2017 it was decided to create a European Remanufacturing Council funded by business membership subscriptions.

The ERN project (and the creation of a European Remanufacturing Council) was inspired by the earlier work of the Remanufacturing Industries Council in the USA.
